The "Love with Food" box

I received this box just a few hours ago. It's the "FIESTA BOX" and, to my surprise it contains a snack item from my beloved Peru which meant a lot to me. *teary eye*

The contents of this box are quite impressing for the initial price of $2.00 for this trial. Best of all, every time a box is delivered to you, somebody in need is being given a meal. That definitely gives Love with Food two thumbs up! So far, it looks like all of the snacks I received are pretty healthy just by reading their labels. A big plus is the coupon for $100 off $160 for Naked Wines. I may use that pretty soon, and a BOGO on any of "The Better Chip" products.

I have not opened any of the snack bags yet since I am still at the office and kind of satisfied from my lunch meal but will do as soon as I get home tonight. I might even get a little video going on (: Keep tuned for more on this box...!

Graze box

05/13/2015

This one was tasty but not my favourite. So sorry I have no pictures of the sealed snack packs but we absolutely "grazed" (yes, just like a cow or a sheep..!) as soon as we received the box. I signed up for the free trial box to be delivered at my office, that way I could share it with the officers but out of the 4 snack packs this first box had, only 2 were good. Besides, the snack portions are way too tiny for the price of $7, and we did not consider the $12 box with just double the "tiny-ness" lol. Our 2 favourites details as follows:
Nutritional Facts
Graze Welcome Insert

  •  "Iced Cinnamon Bun" .- It was this mix of yoghurt coated sunflower seeds, tiny round vanilla cookies, and sugar and cinnamon coated almonds. Absolutely delicious! Your sugar cravings will go away after snacking on this. Loved It!!!

  • "Fruity Mango Chutney" .- I kinda loved the name of this snack since mangoes are one of my favourite fruits and the word "chutney" always seemed funny to me, idk why! This little sampler snack come with about 6-7 kind of puffed rice dippers and of course, the peppery mango chutney sauce. This was another favourite for us. The chutney was just rightly made and that tingly yet spicy flavour that lasted forever in our taste buds....mmmmmm! YUM! Loved it!!!

  • "Black Pepper Pistachios" .- This snack was al right. Maybe because we are not big fans of pistachios...idk. Pistachios were shell-in and flavour was not the best. You could taste the pepper (specially if you lick the inside of the shell like I did..! haha) but nothing too different. Meeh...

  • "Tutti Frutti".- This was just dried fruit chunks that included pineapple, green raisins and flavoured raisins and cranberries. That was the part that we did not like: The "flavoured" raisins. Why can you just leave the raisin taste like a dry grape...? Even though the label said NATURAL FLAVOURING, we just could not swallow that statement. But that is just us! Meeh...

So far, we enjoy those snacks but not enough to be a subscription keeper so we did cancel it this morning. I was surprised to see that there is a pending charge in my bank account from graze.com since this box was a "free-trial" and my next billing cycle does not start until June. It better not go through or then my second review about Graze cancellation issues will be real bad...

(to be continued...maybe!)

UPDATE AS 05/19/2015

OH NO!!!! IT WENT THROUGH...!!!

This delicious experience ended up for us just like any other greedy on-line company. As I mentioned above, we thought graze was not worth the money and so we cancelled on time. However, their system never recorded the changes from weekly to monthly deliveries, neither the cancellation of the boxes. They shipped a new box on May 18. I emailed them 2 days ago and still no response about those unauthorized charges.

Conclusion: If you think you want to TRY graze, I would not recommend it since they would not respect the changes you make to the account. But if you are serious about receiving surprise snacks for $7.00 weekly, then graze is your best bet.
